Purpose of the Inspection

The purpose of this inspection is to establish a clear, cooperative foundation between the Client and the assigned Home Steward as part of the Concierge Home Maintenance Program provided by Bastion Defense LLC.  This inspection is not intended to be a comprehensive real estate or code compliance inspection, nor is it to be used for home purchase or sales decisions.

1. Scope and Intent

• This inspection is conducted solely to assess the current condition of the home for the purposes of ongoing concierge maintenance.
• The goal is to identify:
  - Critical factors that need immediate or near-term attention
  - Recommended improvements that may enhance property upkeep
  - Well-maintained systems or features that simply require routine maintenance

2. Client Engagement and Preferences

• This inspection allows the Client to participate actively in the identification and prioritization of services.
• Following the inspection, a list of suggested services will be provided. The Client retains the right to accept or decline any of these services.
• The Home Steward will use the inspection findings and client input to develop a tailored maintenance schedule based on:
  - The actual condition of the property
  - The Client’s specific needs, requests, and budgetary preferences

3. Inspection Use Disclaimer

• This inspection is not intended for:
  - Real estate purchase or sale transactions
  - Insurance claims or underwriting
  - Building code compliance verification
• The findings of this inspection are for internal use only by Bastion Defense LLC and the Client, as part of a cooperative maintenance relationship.

4. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following:
• The inspection is a relationship-building tool to ensure effective property stewardship.
• The inspection findings are non-binding, and no repairs or services will be performed without Client approval.
• The information gathered will be used to create a personalized and proactive maintenance schedule.
